Guest Reviews

Aqui Santa Fe Luxury Vacation Rental Homes has enjoyed the finest reviews over the years.  It is always a pleasure to hear the comments of those guests who have appreciated the different aspects of each vacation rental home.

“We knew, and if you could have seen our faces as we turned to go up the mountain road, that this place was going to be special and it certainly was.  The house was immaculate, beautiful artwork, the views from the floor to ceiling windows were absolutely breathtaking.  We couldn’t wait to get up in the mornings, sit on the patio with our coffee and watch the sunrise over the mountains – the views from inside the house were so beautiful some mornings we would have coffee on the couch and just look over the colorful mountain terrain.in complete silence, which is somewhat unusual for us, and quiet, my gosh, all you heard was the wind quietly rustling over the trees.  We will definitely go back and rent from Caroline again.  I have never met anyone in our travels who is so organized, professional and a joy to work with and thank you Caroline for the gift basket, it was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel.  We hated to go back to the “concrete jungle” of the city after staying in such a beautiful, peaceful, kick back and enjoy yourself atmosphere.  Caroline, we are so glad that we looked around and found you and this amazing rental.  We will be contacting you next year as well.  Thank you again! ”       — J. Morgan, Chicago

“My wife and I had a fantastic time in Santa Fe and our trip was elevated by staying at Dos Casitas. The place is close to everything, comfortable and had plenty of space for us. We were in Santa Fe for an extended trip and both the housekeeping and lawn maintenance during our visit were done seamlessly and conveniently. We would definitely stay at one of Caroline’s properties again!”      — B. Gamble, Houston

“The perfect vacation home to enjoy Santa Fe. On the East side, two blocks from Canyon Road and walking distance to the Plaza. BOSQUE BELLE has been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. It brims with warmth and charm and a casual sophistication. The home is surrounded by towering trees with an abundance of gardens. We loved the natural light and sunshine streaming from large windows. Santa Fe is a fabulous place for leisurely walks. Take a right turn out the front door, in less than a block you will be on Acequia Madre, an architectural gem. When the street dead ends, head down Garcia where you can stroll back toward your adobe, after enjoying a latte at Santa Fe Subscription, a place to lounge and take in the locals. The art galleries along Canyon Road, the Square and Railroad area are worthy of a day of your vacation. Boutique and Santa Fe style shopping, fine dining and quaint coffee and tea shops are abundant. After nearly fifty trips to Santa Fe from Denver, we have found our favorites for fine dining to be Geronimo’s, Sazon, Sasella, Santa Cafe. The gardens at the Inn at Loretto in the summer is our fav for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Bosque Belle and Santa Fe means relaxation, friendly people, gourmet experiences, super margaritas and great wine selections. For a taste of the local scene, you will want to hit Pasquals and The Shed. Santa Fe embodies mind and spirit.”    — S. Wiegand, Denver

“We had a great time and our accommodations were just wonderful.  It is so nice to stay in a vacation rental that has a wonderful bed with wonderful pillows and such luscious linens! When we come back to SF we will definitely be contacting you!       —A.P. Raleigh, NC

“CASA PERLA lives up to its name. It’s a jewel box casita that is perfect for a couple. The owner is chic, and her influence in the layout and amenities of the property is evident. Casa Perla is perfect for staying home and cooking dinner on the high-end Wolfe stove, and utilizing the outdoor patio for dining alfresco. You might not want to leave the house, but get out and hike the Dale Ball Trails, you will love it.  Staying at Casa Perla was THE BEST!     —B. Johnson”Caroline is the host with the most! She took care of every detail to make sure our stay at EL CRISTAL was easy and relaxing. We had a full propane tank for the grill and showed us how to hook it up and made sure it was working properly; she got special light bulbs just for us; she made sure the garden areas looked perfect before we arrived and left us a very thoughtful gift basket of some lovely treats. We very much appreciated the location of El Cristal–it is in a very convenient area with friendly neighbors and quiet privacy. This was our second stay with Aqui. We will be back! With many thanks.   —B. Gardner

SarasotaHope everybody appreciates what a great host Aqui Santa Fe is!

We cannot fully express how much pleasure it adds to our vacation to stay in one of your properties. Of all the rentals we’ve ever stayed in throughout the years, yours are the standouts by far. Your attention to every detail, makes your guests just relax and enjoy the stay (which is what every vacationer seeks). It is truly better than a stay at a 6 star resort. We’ll be back; it just can’t be soon enough!   — C. Kegan, Santa Rosa, CA

            An Oasis Of Refined Luxury

Aqui Santa Fe is an oasis of refined luxury in a city where every real estate agency promises (but rarely delivers) vacation rental bliss. The firm’s petite, friendly, and energetic proprietor, Caroline Morgan, is blessed with the kind of background that makes her uniquely suited to caring for discerning guests.  As the executive assistant to one of America’s most beloved First Ladies, Caroline learned the true meaning of “exclusive” when she traveled the world in actual Presidential style. Later Caroline managed art galleries in Santa Fe, and brokered multi-million dollar homes in Colorado and New Mexico.  Her understanding and personal experience of the art and luxury markets now translate into what I can best describe as “vacation home curation”.

Each property in Caroline’s portfolio is carefully selected, designed, and furnished, exuding a wealth of old world charm coupled with contemporary sophistication. From the treasured art collections and hand-wrought four poster beds, to the crisp Italian linens and modern appliances, every aspect of an Aqui home receives Caroline’s expert and tasteful attention. Try to imagine a hotel comprised of designer suites located in varied destinations, while maintaining brand quality and consistency throughout, and you’ll grasp the Aqui difference.  Each Aqui home is individual in style and aesthetic, yet all properties retain equivalent standards of quality, luxury and care. I only wish Caroline could clone herself and develop Aqui branches all over the world.

Some of my favorite touches found in all Aqui homes: Frette custom linens
Frette bathrobes
Plush Eco towels
Lofty down duvets
Etro designer toiletries
Protect-a-Bed allergy-free sleep zones
High speed WiFi
Stereo/CD
Flat screen TVs
Private Parking
Washer/dryer

Homes feature hand-sculpted wood burning fireplaces, gardens, terraces, and the grand vistas that are so much a part of any Santa Fe experience. I stayed for a month in a gracious art filled, two-story townhouse just steps from the Georgia O’Keefe museum, and couldn’t have been happier.          —  Joy Davidson,   A LUXURY TRAVEL BLOG

‘This was my 4th trip to Santa Fe, and as usual AQUI SANTA FE did not disappoint. The home was wonderful, and conveniently located to Canyon Rd and the Plaza. Our host, Caroline, was terrific, and met us for check-in. Be sure to go through the “Silent Concierge” source book she provides with carefully curated suggestions on restaurants, galleries, and other things to do. Despite this being my 4th trip, I learned a lot of new things to do, and places to eat, and each was incredible. Highlights of the trip included dinner at Atrisco (a down home type of restaurant, with the best carne adovada), dinner at Restaurant Martin, and a trip to Meow Wolf. A few suggestions to newcomers to New Mexico – eat all things New Mexican cuisine, get your chile Christmas style, and always bring a jacket.‘  — M. Cordigin, Scottsdale

“How do I describe my stay here? … hmmm … how about a lovely sensory overload?! Before we came we were sold on the photos, BUT they, by no means, did CASA BELLA justice. Every time we stepped into the living room we’d stop, captivated by the ambiance, which took you to old Spain in seconds. We normally go out for dinner but Casa Bella always invited us to stay home.  Loved, loved, loved the mountain views from the kitchen and breakfast nook, walks to the Tea House and Canyon Road, and enjoying the garden sun. Also enjoyed the shopping, galleries and day trips but every time we ventured out I looked forward to getting back to the house! I’ve never fallen in love with any place so fast, just sorry it took 30 years to get here.  Thank you, Caroline for the great stay and all the helpful info you sent us.  You and Casa Bella are the BEST ever!” — M. Christiansen, Norway

“We loved everything about this beautifully appointed casita. Lots of privacy for two couples, beautiful bathrooms, big living area and spacious kitchen with anything needed to prepare a meal and a great patio with a gas grill which we used every night. It was very quiet. Two blocks from Canyon Road, the square and a fantastic grocery store. Caroline left a gorgeous gift basket and was always available for our inquiries. AquiSantaFe will be my “go to” for referring friends and family and on my return visits.”     — E. Sheehan, Madison

“I loved this property! We recently stayed one week and the home is perfect. The management was over-the-top..professional and helpful in every way. The location is ideal for walking in any direction in SF. Beautiful garden around front patio..very relaxing & comfortable.  Caroline of AQUI is fabulous…from ease of reservation to personal greeting at the door when we arrived! The home was spotless with top of the line linens on the beds to a kitchen primed for making a gourmet meal to a bathroom stocked with everything you could need. The courtyards were perfect for our two little guys to run and play safely (ages 3 and 2) and for the adults to relax and unwind after a day of shopping and hiking. The house is a very comfortable 2-3 blocks from the square and a very easy walk. Our stay was perfect and I highly recommend this property! We WILL be back!”    M. Tuscan, Midland

“Thank you for introducing us to Casa Bella. The “destination” bedrooms were true to your description. At either end of the house, they were quiet, a sunny wakeup in the morning, and I could have spent the day with a good book in front of the fire if a trip to The Tea House for breakfast were not awaiting us. We were in heaven!”    —D. Jordan, Austin

“How do we love the, let me count the ways………a toasty fire, views of the mountains and city lights, a kitchen to die for, just the right walk to town and Canyon Road, total comfort. Need I say more. AQUI we love you and thank you for a lovely time.”   — S. Kissinger, WA

“Aqui Santa Fe has without a doubt the best houses. We have stayed in them all now and enjoy the different personalities of each. We feel like such personal guests as opposed to being in just another “vacation rental”. Casa Lamar was like living in a piece of art but it was still comfortable and livable. I can only say the best about AQUI and love how you put your houses together. Thanks for the BEST of SANTA FE!”    —J. Lawrence, Boston

“A Perfect Month in a Perfect Home.  Comfort, convenience, cleanliness and Caroline–together all made for a perfect Santa Fe vacation home stay. We have traveled to Santa Fe numerous times in the past, but this trip we were fortunate to have found Casa Simpatica for a month-long visit in April. The home is beautifully furnished, the linens are delightful, the setting is truly picturesque New Mexican, and the location is ideal. Caroline delivered on everything promised, provided a gift basket upon arrival, kept us informed of activities in the city, and made us feel at home immediately. It was a memorable month and one that we hope to repeat soon. Thank you again, Caroline, for making Casa Simpatica a glorious retreat.”  — L.K. Thomas,  PA

“Real Santa Fe Experience.  Of many visits over the years to Santa Fe, our stay at CASA SIMPATICA was the best. Location is quiet yet close to everything, the house was wonderfully clean and comfortable, and the considerable amenities were most welcome. Caroline Morgan was wonderful to work with, from making reservations to personally greeting us with a basket of goodies. Casa Simpatica is perfect if you really want to experience and enjoy Santa Fe, not just make a trip there. We definitely will be back.”    J. Miligan, Milwaukee

“Sophisticated luxury.  My girlfriends and I booked Casa Simpatica for 7 days. As I entered the Casa, I immediately felt that I was “home”. The linens are are absolutely delicious. The bath linens are so soft, thick and absorbent. The bed linens at the Casa are some of the finest linens you will have the pleasure of sleeping on.  I spent many evenings sitting on the front patio, enjoying the cool breeze and listening to crickets. Caroline has a wealth of information that she generously shares with her guests, making our stay interesting, fun and enjoyable. I will definitely return to Casa Simpatica as it is an easy home to visit, and to relax in.”      —Loretta, Tarrytown, NY

“You made us feel welcome and like we were new neighbors.  I came to Santa Fe this summer for my first opera.  Because of Caroline, my trip became even more special.  I say to AQUI SANTA FE, 2 small words with a big smile……thank you.”   —L. Freeman, Los Angeles
