Santa Fe Vacation Rentals | Pet-Friendly

We love our friendly canines and are happy to welcome your dear companions! However, we do ask that you as our guests follow a few guidelines to ensure everyone has a great experience.

  • Photos.  Please email a photo of your dog along with its name so we can have an official introduction, keeping in mind the 40 lb. limit. This will help us ensure your vacation home meets all the needs of your four-legged friend!
  • Dog crate.  We understand that dogs can get lonely when left behind while you’re out, so we kindly request that you bring a crate and all their favorite toys and binkies to make sure they feel right at home.  If you need a rental crate, we can have one at the house for you.
  • Waste baggies.  We will provide waste baggies and a fenced yard for your dog to enjoy. We just ask for your help with clean-up to keep the space comfortable for everyone.

Just a note…..We do not have Emergency Veterinary Services in Santa Fe; the closest is in North Albuquerque.  Cedarwood Veterinary Clinic is by appointment only and is the closest to your vacation home in Santa Fe. For a mobile pet service, try Four Paws. They come highly recommended.

We’re looking forward to hosting both you and your pup!

PET Guesting Protocol,  “Letter To My Owner”

Yea, we get to go on a trip!  Just don’t forget my crate.. It is really very lonely when you aren’t at the house so this will assure that I can be tucked in for cozy safe keeping while you are out for the day or at dinner.

Unfortunately, these vacation homes don’t have grooming salons for us so be sure to contact the professionals if I need and appointment.  Remember they get booked up fast so plan ahead and call now.

I must confess I do shed sometimes even though they say I don’t.  In order not to upset the house sewer system pleeeese do not under any circumstances dispose of my shed in the toilets or we will all be in trouble!!

As a rule we are not allowed on the furniture or beds, BUT…. Sometimes I can’t resist so bring my blankets and the owners will never know.

Those housekeepers are nice but they make so much noise. Can we go for a walk till they are done?  Or, put me in my crate with a blanket over my head.

One last request.  Can you pick up after me.  I know future guests and especially the landscapers appreciate that.  Thank you.

I love to travel with you and want to continue “Pet Guesting” so help me be a good house guest.

Arf Arf!
